Here at Trinity Walk we’re is celebrating our 15th birthday with the opening of a massive new new Tenpin bowling and entertainment centre in the former Debenhams unit.
Tenpin, one of the UK’s leading bowling and entertainment providers, has opened its doors here in Wakey – marking Wakefield city centre’s first purpose-built bowling alley since Fairlanes in 1963.
The brand-new 33,492 sq ft Tenpin venue includes 24 state-of-the-art bowling lanes, two karaoke rooms, laser tag arena, three escape rooms by Houdini’s, interactive darts, arcade area, pool tables, plus a vibrant bar serving food and cocktails.
Work has been ongoing for more than a year to separate the sprawling unit, whose ground floor will soon play home to a huge new Primark – completely bringing the former Debenhams space back to life.
The city’s Fairlanes opened to some fanfare in the early 1960s and was part-owned by Hollywood actor Douglas Fairbanks Jr when it launched on Denby Dale Road near George Street.
Fast forward and we now have 24 state-of-the-art lanes to enjoy plus so much more. Book now!
