Donations by cash in buckets or contactless card very much appreciated at the face painting station for our charity partner Wakefield Hospice who support families across Wakefield and West Yorkshire.
And there’s more…
Potter fans should look out for the Quidditch broom photo opp, wizards’ wand shop and Platform 9 3/4 too!
We’ll also be revving up the action with our huge X-Wing which you can stand by for some awesome pictures (not sitting inside it, Luke will get mad).
We also have Bumblebee Camaro, Lightning McQueen and Pizza Planet van each day.
Reminder, this free event runs 10am to 4pm both days. So there’ll be cars, props and face painting 10am to 4pm.

This event relies on many volunteers, so all characters, images and posters are for guidance only and all characters, props, cars and timings are subject to change without notice.
So don’t be disappointed if Deadpool gets a cold or Spidey has the flu. Although we do sell Lemsip and Olbas Oil, so…
The weather won’t stop us as we have a large roof – so even if it’s a bit wet, we’ll be on.
We have 1,000 paid for parking spaces on site and you can get your first 2 hours free if you spend £10+ in Sainsbury’s and scan your discount ticket before paying at one of our 5 pay machines or 3 exits barriers. 50p all day parking Sundays.
Coming by bus? Easy – we are 90 paces from Wakey bus station.
If you’re on the train, you can come to either Wakefield Westgate or Wakefield Kirkgate and both are less than a 100 minute walk to us.
We have space to lock up to 100 cycles on site and cycle and motorcycle parking is free.
Coming by spacecraft via outer space? Please kindly crash land your ship on the grass around the back of Burger King and use your new-found alien powers to do only good on planet Earth. Plus, the crash site is near Greggs. Ideal.
Yes, please do both here.
We have a Cooplands, Panda Mami, Greggs, Starbucks, Chopstix, Bob & Berts, Little Lotus, Burger King, Costa, Sainsbury’s, Asda Living and Muffin Break. Plus pop-up street food like PG Foods and Pickelicious.
There’s also some great places across Wakey city centre to enjoy too.
Star Walk is awesome and everyone is welcome. Apart from criminals and anti-social behaviour which as you all now, we have a zero tolerance approach on.
Everyone else, come on down! If you have visitors with additional needs and want to find out more or need a little extra help, just get in touch through our contact us page on the website and we’ll do our best to help.
Star Walk does get busy, but the quietest times are from 10am and just before 4pm. Trinity Walk is a spacious open air centre, with two main malls covered by a high roof. So there’s always a place to find space.
It’s flat and accessible for almost everyone, so pushchairs, mobility scooters and wheelchairs are no problem. We have two large accessible/family toilets, and two main toilets blocks. Baby changing is available in our accessible toilets and in all our coffee shops too.
We’ll always try to help. For example, if you are visiting with a child in a wheelchair, please just go say hi to one of the team in pink/black uniform and we’ll do our best to help get you to the front of a queue if/where possible.
