How do I get there?
It’s easy! We have a 1,000 space car park, we’re right next to Wakefield bus station and 5-7 minute walk from Wakefield Westgate and Wakefield Kirkgate train stations. No booking necessary. See here for more
What if we bring a pram, mobility scooter or wheelchair?
No problem! Everyone is welcome here and our malls our wide and flat, so it’s easy to get about. We’re an open air centre so all our entrances are easy access too and we have plenty of lifts and a travelator connecting the lower ground floor car park.
I’m driving, where to I get in?
Our main car park entrance is off Marsh Way A61 so please use that. It take you to the lower ground floor car park, but if you follow it round there’s a big ramp up to the top deck.
My child or adult we’re visiting with has a special educational need.
Again, no problem, Our centre is big so there’s plenty of space to move and step away from crowds. If you need any extra support, don’t hesitate to contact us on info@trinitywalk.com or call 01924 239413 and we’ll do our best to help. We also have a dedicated Changing Places toilet for visitors with additional physical needs located in our toilet block near New Look.

Yes loads! Please see here

Characters will be around the main malls in the centre ranging from near The Entertainer right up tot he big screen, then also along Teall Way near Barclays. They will be out at various times from 11am to around 4pm, but this is just a guide as they will need breaks. Movie cars will be located by the big screen and right up to Greggs. Sunday will see Wakefield Car Show by Wakefield BID taking place right across the city centre.
Can we take pictures with characters and cars?
YES! In fact, we’d encourage it. Please tag @trinitywalk on all your posts so we can see and share if possible. Just please make sure you don’t touch the vehicles or characters. Please also be aware that although characters have guides, some have limited visibility so please give them plenty of space and keep children close to you and supervised at all times.
Face painting sounds great, how much is it?
It’s absolutely free so just queue up and please be patient as it gets busy. We welcome any donations to our partner charity Forget Me Not children’s hospice.
Is the event free both day?
Yes, Star Walk is free to attend. All we ask is please donate whatever you can afford (ideally cash for buckets) to Forget Me Not children’s hospice. Look out for purple buckets, volunteers and contactless donation points.

Yes, you are welcome to come in costume – whatever your age! Just make it clear your a visitor and not an official event character if people ask for pictures.
