Six new stores and centre manager

02 March 2023

Our centre is set to welcome six new stores – and a centre manager – in a successful start to the year.

We will play home to Europe’s biggest sports and fitness retailer, Sports Direct, who will take over a prominent space across two floors in a unit at the top of Teall Way.

National independent jewellers, Warren James, will add even more sparkle to us when they open on the main mall near HMV and Clintons.

We’ll be looking even healthier following the opening of an exciting independent local brand, Sanctuary Health & Wellbeing, who will offer state-of-the-art yoga, pilates and more after moving into the unit above Asda Living.

In addition the Leeds and Wakefield Breast Screening Unit has relocated from Kings Street to Trinity Walk taking a key unit opposite the bus station.

BoyleSports has secured a space on the entry to the centre on Westmorland Street near Cooplands and Bonmarche, with work on the fit out already under way.

The popular Community Give Box store, run by Community Foundation Wakefield District, has moved home to the former Peter Jones unit near the car park, further expanding their floor space and range of goods available.

Lynette Howgate joins Trinity Walk

And a new centre manager will oversee this fresh wave of brands at our national and world award-winning Yorkshire shopping centre.

Lynette Howgate has joined Trinity Walk, replacing Cormac Hamilton after nearly a decade in charge at the scheme.

The Yorkshire-born boss is originally from Dewsbury and brings a wealth of more than 17 years’ experience after working across the country in various centres.
