Set blasters to fun and transform your weekend because Star Walk returns to Trinity Walk.
Join us from 2 free action-packed days of cosplay movie stars, cars and props raising money for Forget Me Not children’s hospice, so please donate cash in buckets on the day.
Catch Deadpool and Batman rubbing shoulders with Elphaba and Mando (with Grogu in tow) while Chewie meets Bluey and Bumblebee meets Barbie. Keep an eye out for our friendly neighbourhood Spider-man too while enjoying some free movie face painting.
Clear your phone, because there’ll be photo opps and chances for selfies with superheroes, villains, robots, aliens, witches and more.
Fan-made movie cars including Optimus Prime, Batmobile, Mystery Machine, Lightning and The King will roll up alongside the Jurassic Park Jeep, armoured truck from The Running Man and USA cop cars.
Sit on a fan-made Speeder Bike from Return of the Jedi, grab seat with Paddington on his bench and sit in the Game of Thrones, erm…throne!
Mando2Hire will be here, the world’s only Mandalorian tribute act with a combination of the real voice, a fully operational speeder bike and so cute real Grogu! This is the way.
Then make the jump to lightspeed and climb aboard Obi-Wan’s starfighter for a pic before hopping in a giant toy box for another selfie.
Kids are encouraged to become heroes themselves and dress up as their favourite characters – and can enjoy free face painting both days 10am to 4pm, with donation to charity of whatever you can give encouraged.
We will also hopefully have free glitter tattoos both days, with donations for the relevant charity welcome.
The action take place across the shopping centre with cars, props and free face painting 10am to 4pm, with characters out and about from around 11am to 3.30pm with breaks.
All characters are cosplay/mascots and cars/props lovingly fan-made. Enjoy and thanks for donating to our charity partner!

Automated Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) is now in operation. Here’s how it works.
The new system will mean you won’t need a ticket on entry – then before you leave just visit a new pay station. Type in your car registration and it’ll tell you how much you owe, then pay before you leave via card or contactless only. It’s all via the magic of number plate recognition on entry!
Like a deal? Just spend £10 or more in our Sainsbury’s and make sure you get an additional receipt when you pay – this is your 2 hours’ discount and has a barcode on to scan at the pay station to get your parking discount. This means £2 will be deducted from your total parking charge when you scan it.
Coming by bus? Easy – we are 90 paces from Wakey bus station.
If you’re on the train, you can come to either Wakefield Westgate or Wakefield Kirkgate and both are less than a 100 minute walk to us.
We have space to lock up to 100 cycles on site and cycle and motorcycle parking is free.
Visiting from outer space? Please kindly crash land your ship on the grass around the back of Burger King and use your new-found alien powers to do only good on planet Earth. Plus, the crash site is near Greggs. Ideal.
Yes, please do both here.
We have a Greggs, Starbucks, Bob & Berts, Little Lotus, Panda Mami, Caffe Nero, Burger King, Costa, Sainsbury’s, Asda Living, Muffin Break and Cooplands.
There’s also some great places across Wakey city centre to enjoy too.

Star Walk is awesome and everyone is welcome. Apart from criminals and anti-social behaviour which as you all now, we have a zero tolerance approach on.
Everyone else, come on down! If you have visitors with additional needs and want to find out more or need a little extra help, just get in touch through our contact us page on the website and we’ll do our best to help.
Star Walk does get busy, but the quietest times are from 10am and just before 4pm. Trinity Walk is a spacious open air centre, with two main malls covered by a high roof. So there’s always a place to find space.
It’s flat and accessible for almost everyone, so pushchairs, mobility scooters and wheelchairs are no problem. We have two large accessible/family toilets, a Changing Places toilet and two main toilets blocks. Baby changing is available in our accessible toilets and in all our coffee shops too.
This is a live event made up of lots of volunteers – so as always, all characters, cars and props are subject to change without notice and all times are purely for guidance only and could change, too.
Never ever touch the characters, cars or props unless invited to do so by the character, their guide or event staff. Never leave children unattended even for a second, we’re not a nursery. And they could risk being beamed aboard a spaceship.
