Join us for some free synthetic ice skating – perfect for families this Christmas.
Run by Eco Skate Ltd and presented by Wakefield BID and Trinity Walk, we’re offering 25 minute sessions on the mini rink from 10am to 5pm on Saturday December 9 & Sunday December 10.
It’s the first time we’ve done it, so it’s a trial run and if it goes well we’ll look to bring it back for longer in the future.
The mini rink will be located at Trinity Walk near Starbucks and Burger King.
You must book via Eventbrite in advance and have a valid ticket at the right time to skate.

Book NowWhen you get your ticket through on email your time slot will be displayed clearly at the top with the date of your ticket below (any other times e.g. 10am-5pm are the length of the entire event not your individual slot).
To make it fair, bookings are limited to 2 slots per person when booking on Eventbrite and you must arrive 15 minutes before your time slot begins.
If you are more than 5 minutes late for your ticket slot, then your slot will be given to someone waiting (a walk up) on the day on a first come, first served basis.
This will be the same for anyone not attending or any un-booked slots for each time.
You must have an Eventbrite ticket to skate or be allocated a walk-up space on the day (e.g. due to a no show).

This is the first time we’ve trialled a rink here, so please bear with us, arrive early with your ticket(s) and be kind to staff.
Ideal for ages 3 upwards. All children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult and all have tickets booked via this Eventbrite site.
