Star Walk is back this Halloween! Heroes and villains will swap the big screen for Trinity Walk’s malls in Wakey this half term as the massive, free cosplay event returns Saturday October 26 and Sunday October 27.
Expect to see everyone from Batman, Belle and Bumblebee to Deadpool, Stormtroopers and Maleficent. Plus The Mandalorian will be here too!
The Turtles Van will be here Saturday followed by the ghost bustin’ Ecto1 on the Sunday. And there’ll be a replica flying car from Harry Potter and Transformers Bumblebee Camaro both days.
Star Wars characters from UK Garrison will be on patrol Saturday with Imperial Alliance on duty Sunday – plus a hip hop Stormtrooper on the Saturday!
Grab a picture with our Harry Potter platform 9 ¾ photo opp and point your lens at the Game of Thrones seat, for winter is coming.
Get loose with the #juice – head to HMV for a dead fun Beetlejuice photo opp.
It’s a completely free event, but as always we are raising money for Forget Me Not children’s hospice which covers West Yorkshire – so please bring some spare cash to donate in the many purple buckets. Every penny makes a huge difference.
And there’s free face painting both days with Donna’s Face Painting here 10am to 4pm.
Catch the action 10am to 4pm both days, with characters out and about from around 11am to 3.30pm.
Live events so all times, characters and cars are just for guidance and subject to change without notice.
All characters are cosplay/mascots, cars and props are loving homages to the originals and/or fan-made.

Enjoy FREE face painting thanks to the talented team at Donna’s Face Painting. Find the station near The Entertainer toy shop. It’s free, but cash and card donations welcome and gratefully received
FREE glitter tattoos and a paid-for charity prize-every time tombola will also be running opposite the face painting, outside the Forget me Not children’s hospice shop. There’s also a card donation point there too, so we appreciate every penny you can spare if you don’t have cash on you. All proceeds go directly to the charity.
Tombola, merch and FREE glitter tattoo stall run by Forget Me Not outside their store next to The Entertainer.
You can also make contactless donations to the charity there on the day and by the face painter.
