Filming & Photography Permission

Hi there. Trinity Walk is private land, that means if you want to film or photograph here you need our permission (as representatives of the landowners). The many big pink signs dotted around the centre make it clear it is private land.

This is different from filming on public land where you do not need permission, but that is subject to various other rules and laws which we won’t delve into here.

However, we know the world is moving on and most shoppers take pictures of clothes, events, selfies, each other while out shopping – and that is all fine for personal use when taken on our site.

But if you want to photograph or film here at Trinity Walk using any kind of device (anything from a phone to a camera to a drone) that could reasonably or will be monitised by you or your employer, or you are a member of the media, then you must ask our permission beforehand to film or photograph before doing so. This must be done in writing at least 24 hours before you visit and we will respond.

If we say no, then sorry you can’t film anywhere here. We’ll always try to help if we can though.

The easiest way is to email info@trinitywalk.com and we will get back to you. If you don’t hear back, give us a buzz on 01924 239413.

Examples of things that will be or could be monitised could include (but not limited to):

  • Filming for your or your employer’s YouTube channel or any other social media platform for which may get paid directly or indirectly by them/advertisers for this content
  • Taking and selling images/video to a stock image website
  • If you are a professional journalist from a media outlet looking for a location to shoot, please see the contact us section.

Please see our contact us section for official media enquiries too.
